Quality of Life Advocates Parent Check’s advocates regularly visit seniors to evaluate the safety and security of their environment as well as the individual’s general well-being.
Advocate Job Duties:
-Help maintain a safe & secure household
-Send QL Reports to authorized family members
-Find services to improve quality of life and general well-being
-Monitor service providers to ensure needs are being met
-Print the online calendar to help track important dates
-Plan for future needs
Quality of Life Report Authorized family members will receive a “Quality of Life Report” after each advocate visit. This report contains advocate observations and suggestions for improving quality of life.
The report addresses topics like:
-“Is she checking her mail?”
-“Is the fridge stocked”
-“Are there any hazards in the home?”
-“Is the home well lit?”
-“Is she getting out of the house enough”
-“Is everything in the home working properly?”
Family Communication ParentCheck.net provides families with an efficient way to keep up with the fast paced senior life style. Online family work groups feature a discussion board, to-do list, calendar, emergency contact info and secure document storage. This helps family get organized and plan for the future needs of their loved one.
Service Management We find a combination of products and services that make caring for an aging loved one less stressful. The service plan will consist of things like an errand running service for groceries, a bill pay service for bills, and a cleaning service to lessen physical labor and so on. We would refer a doctor, care manager or nursing service to consult for medical care needs. Parent Check does not accept commissions from any services providers we may recommend.
